Caladon

Caladon was once a magical place. Caladon was once a place filled with wonder and adventure and danger and chaos, but now? Now, the world has seen nothing but peace. The elves gather in their clans, honoring the traditions that meant everything in their past but nothing in the present. The humans bustle about in their cities, selling and buying and creating and telling tales of the old times of heroes. Dwarves scour the lower reaches of Caladon for metals and other rare commodities—maybe even relics of the past that has now faded into the background. Devanari soar the skies, constantly searching for a place in this bustling and busy world. Will they find it?   But, the seeds of conflict that were lain in Caladon's distant past are now beginning to sprout. A murder in the elven clans, the arrival of an Isanthe, a harbringer of change, the murders of investigators that conceal long-lost secrets, the extinction of the most legendary Devanari subspecies, the Sorajkel, everything is beginning to pile up. Times are changing, and the old legends of heroes and villains are returning. And so is the destruction. The chaos. The death.   The question arises, then.   Who is going to stop it?
