Hello, all! My name is Jordan Taylor. I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and got my undergrad degree in Architecture from the Washington University in St. Louis. Go Bears! I’ve worked for a couple of private architecture companies over the last few years, but my career didn’t really start taking off until I started posting my work online. You may have seen it floating around the internet. I’m particularly inspired by Art Deco and Contemporary styles. I take commission work almost exclusively in addition to making tutorials on my Patreon.
I’m also a proud transgender woman, and, though I did not ask for it, have been deemed an unofficial role model and spokesperson for the transgender community in the architecture and engineering fields. I am happy that my work and my identity can be an inspiration to others, and that I can use my platform to help others in the transgender community. I dedicate much of my social media presence to not only architecture, but to LGBTQIA+ outreach and activism. I partner with my local LGBT Center and donate a portion of my Patreon proceeds to them.
