Alrik is one of the oldest members of the student council in age and seniority. Across the campus, he is commonly referred to as "Oni", due to the piece of shrapnel lodged into his head, which resembles a single demon's horn. This is actually the tip of a katana that broke while he was training by himself in high school. How this happened exactly, nobody knows as he remains tight-lipped about the finer details. However, while it could be surgically removed, Alrik has chosen to keep it intact as a remainder to himself and those around him of the dangers of letting your guard down, even during seemingly calm moments.
Since Alrik's time at Cain University, he has quickly become renown in many of the swordplay clubs due to his expertise and abilities. His dedication and remarkable skills when it comes to swords, agility, and stealth have earned him a seat at the student council, which started towards the end of his first year, making his time spent there longer than any other current member. Since being elected into the council, Alrik has always made it known that if someone is able to defeat him in one on one combat, that he would gladly give up his seat to the one that overpowers him. But, even with this challenge being active at all times and with many attempts made, nobody has been able to take the position from him.
When not attending classes or defending his position, Alrik is often found at the school's dojo training his fellow club members. His most dedicated and skilled apprentices
can be easily identified by the attire they wear that resembles Alrik's outfit. During his few moments of peace, Alrik enjoys relaxing with a hot cup of tea and sometimes is known to work with Yukiko at her bar to serve his award winning jasmine tea to guests. His time in the bar is one of the few moments where his challenge is put on hold, as Yukiko has forbid any fighting within her establishment. Although, that didn't stop a few, who were quickly overwhelmed by both Alrik and Yukiko before being expelled for their negligence.
