Fae
Olive skinned, with large almond eyes and vaguely elven features, the Fae are, by and large, a highly inquisitive and mischievous race. Rarely reaching a height of over 5ft tall and boasting a set of translucent wings not unlike a dragonfly, they are remarkably light on their feet. Be not fooled by their nature, however. They are a powerful race whose history runs deep and sometimes bloody. A Fae is said to reach adulthood between the ages of 50-80. Their lifespan is much longer than that of a human; some Fae are rumoured to be almost five centuries old. Fae cannot speak an outright lie (it pains them to try), but they are skilled at mistruths and withholding information. Also, the touch of iron or steel will burn them as though it were a hot flame.
