Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the gods birthed a new world. Populating it with a variety of creations of their own, they walked among the people for years, until one goddess turned on the others. After countless sacrifices were made by the humans they swore to protect, the gods retreated to their own plane, where they could only watch those that they created and cared so deeply for, fearful of hurting those they loved.   Years passed, and the original six tribes, formed by those very same gods, began to flourish, organizing into nations. There were times of war, and times of peace. Some nations remained, while others split. Recently, the world has been through a number of upsets. Ancestral nobility has gone missing, while border fights become increasingly common. The art of healing has nearly died out. Life continues, though, and for the average person, very little has changed.
