House Tympum

The second ring of Harquil is filled with the sound of laughing children. As you pass through the second ring of Harquil you see many many houses and buildings, this is by far the most residential area of Harquil.

House Tympum raises the children of all other houses until they come of age to be assigned a house and contribute to Harquil. There are no “families” in Harquil. Women who get pregnant and give birth, give up their children to House Tympum to be raised until they come of age to be assigned a house and the new house becomes their family.

Structure

The head of House Tympum is Yona Tympum. Yona is the oldest person in Harquil and is the most nurturing and caring woman in Harquil, this is what makes her qualified to be the head of Tympum. Yona Is in charge of making sure all the young are raised well and when the time comes she is in charge of what houses the children are assigned to based upon their talents.

To raise properly raise the young and make sure they are placed into the right house.

History

The founder of House Tympum was a father of 10 whose real name has been lost to time and he is simply known as Papa Tympum. Papa Tympum took it upon himself to raise all those orphaned by Xerunes Folly. He was approached by the other gnome survivors to raise their children so that they may focus upon rebuilding and thus House Tympum was born.

We are the soul of Harquil, without us children would not be properly raised.
