Caernin

A world of wonderment all it's own, Caernin is a place of unrealized history and the development of magic within society. Currently in the year 847 PR, many heroes have risen to the call of disaster.. Though nearly a thousand years have passed since the first written records known of today (PR = Post Record), little history is well-recalled until the 5th century PR. These records include a set of massive tablets written in ancient languages, barely decipherable in modern versions of the languages found there. The first, the Zorlissa Accord as it was deciphered, was said to be the heart of Elven Magic and Curse, written by the long-dead First King of Elvenkind. Little history is realized in the first 4 centuries after the dawn of the Post Record Age, though documents from 419 PR speak of great, tumultuous cataclysm across the world that buried many of the libraries and places of learning of the past. From that point forward, few breaks in information are found in the history of Caernin. And the time before the Post Record Age? Not even the gods claim to have knowledge of the times before that. The current time of 847 PR is a time of relative peace and prosperity, and the world has come together to form wider societies across the plane. Still, there are many events just on the horizon... for the Astral Sea has begun to shed it's tears...
