Mama Samdi
Mama Samdi (sam-dee) is a loa spirit of dreams, medicine, and mischief to the gatorfolk in southern Cygnar. She is ancient and extremely powerful, but often seeks mortals to fulfill her tasks due to specific limitations. As a loa, she lacks the power of the Gods of Caen, instead, she is more a manifestation of those who believe in her.
She is interested in the occult and the dark forces of the world. She seeks champions to interact with the dark lore of the world, as doing so extends her power in the court of loa. Mama Samdi is above all interested in staying alive and will interact with any soul that enters her realm. She will bestow a gift to extend her worship, drawing strength and extending her reach with every crime, life taken, and death magic stolen.
She drinks rum infused with hot peppers and is symbolized by a black rooster. Mama Samdi is foul-mouthed.
