House Issyen

One of the five Great Military Houses, Issyen is tasked with the defense of the Gate of Storms, which guards the borders between Ios and Rhul. One might think that this means their soldiers—known for their skill at fighting from horseback, even in close quarters—have seen less combat than the other Great Military Houses, but the jagged steel heads of their spears have tasted the blood of many a strange creature that ventured down from the Silvertip Peaks over the centuries.
