Queen Arienh Amarates

Despite her relatively young age, Arienh Amarates rules the True Kingdom with a fair and just hand. Instilled with the Amarates Dynasty's virtues of honor, compassion, and justice since birth, she strives every day to ensure that her people continue to prosper and endure as they have for hundreds of generations. A humble and astute ruler, Arienh is never quick to judgement or royal decree, instead weighing each decision carefully, as she believes the measure of a true ruler is true service to the people. In the four years she has sat on the throne of Bretyngaard, many among the citizenry have remarked of her similarities to the True Kingdom's founder and its greatest hero, her own ancestor Taylis Amarates. Arienh is quick to dismiss such comparisons, though in private it weighs heavily on her, as she fears some great darkness lingers in the shadows, and that she will soon be looked upon to decide not only the fate of the True Kingdom, but all of Meranthis.
