Mar-Lemurius, the Tidefather

The patron god of Tritons is one of the oldest of the gods, the other being his wife, Inaris, and together, they are viewed as the King and Queen of the Gods. Mar-Lemurius is the lord of storms and the sea, and the patron of righteous battle, protection, and courage. Fighters, paladins, and others who fight for the protection of others worship him, as well as some druids and rangers. His priests are often found on ships, seeking his blessing for safe passage, and storms are said to be his reminder to the world that the gods are always watching.
Mar-Lemurius lives within the Seven Heavens of Celestia, where he swims beneath the waters of the endless Undying Sea on the highest peak of Chronias. He is depicted as a handsome and muscular Triton, with flowing hair and a long beard, wielding an ornate trident and clad in golden armor. His symbol is a trident before a wavelike swirl, and the shark is his sacred animal.
