Gru’mak, the Chained God
Alignment: Chaotic Evil | Domains: Tempest, War
Father of the orcs, Gru’mak is known as the Chained God to the people of Damalith. He is a bloodthirsty, barbaric deity, and his worshipers are near equal to him in their ravenous violence. Orcs are his primary worshipers, and they kill and take slaves in his name, though others who revel in honorless war and slaughter pay homage to him. Long ago, his skin was stitched with terrible chains by the his eternal enemy, the Gilded God, and each day the pain that he endures fuels his bloodthirst.
Gru'mak is chained in his prison on the barren fields of Nishrek, deep within the chaotic plane of Acheron. He is depicted as a hulking, crazed orc with chains hanging from his skin and wielding a cruel great axe. His symbol is a scarred eye wrapped in chains, and his sacred animal is the scorpion.
