Elf Queen Sariel

Sariel is the steadfast ruler of the Elderwyld, overseeing the great forest realm from her throne in Silhathen's Spire of Stars. A high elf, she has reigned for nearly a hundred years, and has proven herself countless times to her wood elven and dark elven subjects, despite the oft tenuous relations between the three branches. She is a gifted warrior and spellcaster, and none among her people would dare doubt her abilities beyond the throne. Unlike many previous elven monarchs, who have largely concerned themselves with the affairs of the elven people, she has taken great care to extend the branch of friendship to the gnomes, firbolgs, and other fey creatures that have come to live beneath the great trees. With the horrors of the Shadowfell beginning to encroach further into her realm and rumor of other strange things, she has come to realize that elvenkind alone will not be enough to defend it.
