Appointment

A noble is granted this title by the Emperor, usually on recommendation by the Chancellor.

Duties

The Treasurer of the Empire must ensure that the taxes are being collected and accounted for accurately as well as contribute to the Vault of the Emperors. This is often in the form of donations from noble families that contribute magical items or masterwork crafts.
