Count
Appointment
A Count is granted the title by the Emperor, and by exception the Imperial Council.
Responsibilities
They oversee a demesne of those Lords that own land, usually between 5 to 6. In addition, they are responsible for voting and debating on subjects that get brought forth from the Council of Lords to the Counts Meet. Often their other duties take them away from the great assembly halls and will have a speaker that they provide an agenda to in order to debate while on business away from the capital.
