They say she was born on the battlefield, bred to fight the enemies of the Empire. True or not, there is no record of her parents, the only records indicate she showed up at the steps of the Halls of Justice at eight years old and demanded to be allowed to prove she deserved to be there. She subsequently sent two boys to healers for wounds she inflicted upon them. For the rest of her life to this day she has done nothing but prove herself to be a daughter of the Empire, loyal, dedicated, and ruthless to those who would dare usurp the power and majesty of Umenor.
In truth, Claudette was born to peasant farmers. She had a happy childhood up until the day she and her parents were headed to market and they were waylaid by bandits. Her parents ended up being killed and she was left to die herself, and the only one she remembers of those brigands was a kenku who had been shocked by what his travelling companions had done and stood there in panic for a time before running off themselves. For Claudette at that age, it was all she needed to harbor a deep resentment of kenku.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Not only did she become High-Marshall, but she became the first woman and Non-Elf to do so. She is the most powerful Human in the Empire, and is proud to make that clear. It upset the balance enough the Imperial Council pushed through a law dictating that only those positions not directly involved with the making of laws could be held by someone without Elven blood.
