Tucked away in the corner of some unimportant galaxy is a tightly packed binary star system. One large and yellow, the other small and red. Though the odds are unlikely, life has arisen everywhere here. There are few places in which even bacteria do not call home, including empty space itself.
Over the course of seven thousand years mankind has risen from humble neolithic beginnings on the Main World to having colonies and cities on every major body. Progress was never smooth though, there were bound to be setbacks such as the bronze age collapse, or the growing pains of industrialization. Nevertheless, mankind now has dominion over ten planets, many more moons and even more asteroids.
