Buritria

Buritria is the thought child of the gods. Behumet, Lathandar, and Efreeti. Behumet the god of life and law, Lathandar the god of creativity and the dawn, and Efreeti the goddess of the nature. These three preexisted all life divine and mortal. They set out to create a perfect plane for mortal races to come forth and develop. Thus Bruritria was formed. Efreeti shaped the lands and oceans. Behumet brought forth sentient life and created natural laws. Lathander, gave the creations reason and choice. The Three watched as the races grew and advanced through the ages, removed from interfering. Until Lathander became infatuated with the human race. Their resilience to the creeping presence of their own mortality, and their creativity in the realms of arts and technology drew the eye of Lathander. So much so as to descend from his divine realm and intermingle with them. While his intentions were good in nature the accessibility of his insights and power soon sprouted evil in the land. Ashamed in his new creation Lathander removed himself to the outer planes and his brother Behumet with him to hunt Lathander down and hold him accountable for his actions. Efreeti remained as she watched her world descend into darkness, until she could take it no more and also descended to turn the outcome of the procession of evil. Sacrificing herself she barred the forces of evil from the land and returned the world to its relative peace. Entrusting the rule to The Council to ensure its continuance.
