Latoman

This stretch of land is arguably the most mysterious of all of Brexeamar. In this area stretches a gargantuan labyrinth that shared the same name as the land. It’s walls are an ocean of impenetrable onyx metal scraping the heavens above. It’s barriers are covered in ancient sigils, hieroglyphs, runes, kanji, numbers and strange indecipherable characters. Inside the divide, no life has been discovered, only the life sacrificed to its yawning maw, and those that were foolish enough to believe they could solve the ungodly puzzle. Only lifelike statues and the dead are found inside its walls. Structures that can only be assumed to be odd mechanical art may also be found, as well as extremely sadistic and brutal traps. The Yuan - Ti of Egzilo Mergim have been known to send their exiles into Latoman for judgement and their weak as sacrifices. Those that live in the harsh land of Kulrarsuh take comfort knowing that there is only one way for any attackers to get to them and are thankful for the Latoman protecting their people. Given its placement it is thought to have been created by the deep gnomes and gray dwarves of Kulrarsuh, but not even their people seem to know how to solve Latoman. Some think the ancient ones of Brexeamar built it together to keep the land that is know known as Kulrarsuh from the rest of the world, or possibly as a last safe place in the event of an occurrence such as the ancient Great War, but why choose a place as brutal as the Jagged Teeth for a place to keep safe? Some scholars believe that it is a prison for a powerful ancient evil but can not explain how the ancient people may have built or even trapped such an evil there. Most recently it has been rumored that Latoman is where the majority of the Cults that worship Lord Tornheart reside. Yet still, no one truly knows anything more than that trying to best Latoman is to court Death herself.
