Growth Rate & Stages
Once a karse seed is planted- as simple as dropping a seed pod on the ground (preferably where creatures and pests can't easily reach it) and leaving it be- a seed will use the available nutrients in its surroundings to begin growth, forming dark green to black leaves with pointed edges.

The karse plant can grow in almost any environment; cold, hot, wet, dry, soil, even rock.

The karse plant is a normal, photosynthesizing plant.
Biological Cycle
Like many plants, the karse plant grows during the first seven years of the cycle, then wilts and hibernates during the Doom Year.
