Glynda's Fount

As is the custom of the Sypen, Glynda Vizyon's leaving of this life gave way to a Spirit mirror– a reflecting pool– which was built in the spot that she first laid eyes upon her husband.

Purpose / Function

The Fountain is Glynda's Spirit mirror and memorial; the outer pool serves as the mirror, while the inner basin holds the fount.

Architecture

The main pool is a circular work, twelve arms in diameter and two fingers in depth, the bottom elevated 1 arm off the ground. In the center of the main pool is the fountain itself; the fountain's basin is three arms in diameter and two fingers in depth, raised one finger above the outer pool.The entire structure is made of marble.
