Session 88-90

NO (covering one full page, just “no”, with erratic scribbled lines) So much for not losing Cormag.
Yoril tricked us. Just like the first one did. And just like the last time there was a Yoril, people were getting petrified. Clearly this time was way worse. I wish I could laugh at how stupid I was to believe that we could handle this.
I’m so angry. Mainly at myself. But also at Yoril. And at Torm, though I know he doesn’t deserve it. But I can’t afford to yell externally, otherwise I might set off an avalanche here - so I’m yelling in my head, and of course Torm is usually the one I talk to in there.
I’m not the only stupid one. I can’t believe Rainier thought she could just take his soul shard, the one thing I have left of him. The ONE thing I can do to maybe bring him back is guard this gem with my life, and she wants me to pass it around like cards at poker. I also can’t believe Arya went off into the night without telling us after what we just went through. There are some messes I am willing to clean up. For example, saving Rainier was a no-questions-needed rescue. She was trying her best. But cleaning up Arya’s mess would be stupid, since she clearly doesn’t value her life enough to even tell us she went off. And even if I was willing to go after her, I don’t have any diamonds left. If Arya values her life, she’d better wise up fast.
I feel like the only ones in the party with any sense of knowing our limits are me and Kara. And I know she’s on some new spirit journey of her own, too. Historically, those haven’t gone well for us.
He didn’t deserve this. He was troubled, but he wanted a way out of that life. This better not have been what he had in mind.
Am I keeping him from moving on?
