The last sniveling thief has escaped with the artifact. Although, I must say I am impressed with my own handy work. The goblins I command have produced a map of the tunnels underneath the city, and with the, how you say, utilitarian nature of Cromag we were able to traverse the tunnels as bats with great ease. This was in an attempt to intercept the thief on their way back to their stronghold. As we arrived at the junction in front of the hideout a gnomish wizard, a human paladin, and several common crooks left the base. We decided to ambush them as there was a chance that they were meeting with the man who stole the artifact who we were in search of. The Wizard was quickly dealt with, but the frost paladin was a trickier foe. Luckily the hours I have spent training my allies paid off, they were able to defeat the paladin with mt guidance. While the Wizard did not survive his wounds, the rest of the part we captured did and with Kara’s handcuffs we captured them, interrogated them, and sent them off with Altek to be secured by the guards. No all that is left to do is find the artifact, hopefully Cormags nose proves keeners then his other senses and he tracks them down.
