Session 18

Dear diary: I was finally released from jail today and met up with my traveling group. I’m still not too sure what to make of them but I have a feeling that they’ll all end up dying soon, I was a bit underwhelmed watching them fight, they do everything individually and not as a unit. Its as if each one takes a turn to attack in combat instead of coordinating together. Regardless we spent most of the day standing on some stairs waiting to receive an audience with the person in charge of this city. He was surrounded by lackies, but he did seem reasonable, we explained the situation that the city would be facing soon and advice a strategic plan. After the meeting had concluded I started talking to some barkeep in order to get some information, he was useless for the most part with the only two exceptions being that he had lost a valuable family shield that whoever is in ownership of has a claim to a noble family of the city (northcrest) and that the shipping docs are a good place to look for gangs and dwarfs who may know of entrances to the underground caves the norths men may take.
