Session 15

After a night of little rest and many wicked thoughts I awoke to spend a part of the day dealing with the aftermath of MishMish’s fire. We gave medical treatment to the refugees and made others comfortable, I haven't seen wounds that gruesome since. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that night. I spoke to vanthris about being held accountable for mishmish’s actions, he declined, saying he felt like only she was responsible. I also accepted Vanthris’s offer to join the seekers. They seem to stand for what I value and I hope to be proven right. We knew we needed to warn the queen about the northman horde and had little time left to stay and help. We found a new traveling companion, an elf Named Arya. Seems capable if not a little talkative, pretty fit to boot. We had to deal with Gundarl with as well. The captain of the wolfship that brought me halfway to this horrific place. I had talked to him once before caged, and come to a point of impasse. He gave off the spirit of a broken man. I tried to understand him but he was unconvinced. At the time of our departure me and cormag tried to convince the man to aid us once more or die. He seemed resigned to die at my hand or his own. After failing to convince him I granted his will to die. A spirit of blood and death poured forth from his body and delivered an ill omen, disappearing after I struck a blow through it with the hammer. I know it will come back to haunt us though. I dont know why I hesitated to kill him for so long, even trying to redeem him. It felt the same after I took his name off my list, but I feel no better. I have more work to do. We returned to the hammer not long after to set sail to warn the queen, the trip breathed a bit of air back into me. The ice of the sea clung tight and made me miss Bjorndalr.
