Session 101 - 105
Rainier
Last we left off, a revelation came to light,
The northmen’s poison, a sinister blight
A tale unfolds where the land did bleed,
A tale of intrigue and a friend in need
In a cave’s embrace, a great winged creature’s lair,
Familiar faces appeared with information to share
Silroh, eyes covered, brought news of an old friend,
While Vanthris negotiated toward his own end
To the forest’s heart, through portals unknown,
World tree branches, where time is overthrown
Through Vanthris’ questions, suspicion is stirred,
A quest for power, for an artifact referred
Gael’s voice rang out, a challenge he made,
Diversions were put forth, to conceal the great blade
Unseen and certain, Allie sliced with her knife,
Blindly we jumped in, through one of the branches of life
In Dernell Forest, we, stumbling, arrived,
By miracle or dark forces, Una still had survived
An ambush was set, young Blaric was captured,
In ‘counts of towers and magic, we were enraptured
Blood, Kazgaroth’s warning, a voice from beyond,
Freedom sought from an infernal bond
In the shadows we crept, safe from a watcher’s gaze
When chaos erupted, flaming arrows ablaze
Dragon sigils unfurled, thundering hooves pounded,
Lady Verna charged with a cry, and alarms were sounded
Gael thrown, arrows fired, deadly precision,
Kara shroud in darkness, no room left for decision
Over a wall we climbed, amidst tents aflame,
Manning scorpion crossbows, archers took aim
Gwenda’s wrath bellowed, an exhale of holy fire,
Frightened and charred, Northmen outlooks turned dire
A dash to the cave where dear Una waited,
Caged, she trashed, eyes and mouth mutilated
Charge, struggle, revive, a furious dance,
Chains slashed, cage unlocked, a last fleeting chance
Advancing, steady, grim-faced, resolved,
Lady Verna persisted, in shadows archers dissolved
Drau temple water, disorienting, thrown,
Escape was fleeting, chaos was sown
Una’s blood, spilt, a pit of despair,
A young queen’s heart, burdened to bear
Piercing crash, sudden flame, under cover arrive,
Gael, Arya, and Verna, remarkably alive
Una, asleep, to a cage once more confined,
To a camp far removed, did the Queen’s magic bind
Battered, bleeding, shaken and spent,
Patched up, breath even, toward a new danger we went.
