I’m trying journal for now
This is the journal of Kara Grievar Kalagiano, These events are recorded long after the fact for posterity, I tried to record them as I remember the experience, not with the knowledge I have now.
Day 1 after my capture: The Big ones name is Einar, and his head is mine one day I swear it. This ship rocks me sick and Im sure my arm is broken. The sea spray is cold and the wind rips against my flesh but the worst part is the chains that hold me to this bench. Hands and feet together right in front of an oar. My breathing hurts. I’m not the only chained wretch on this boat either. A firbolg is the farthest back in my row, Then behind me a strange fishike elf. In front of me there is a Djin. The other row Holds four as well, a human man named Thomas, whom I was captured with, a gnome. The other two are lost to my memory.
Einar is the wretch who captured me, big guy, not as tall as me but twice as wide. He beats of all often and without mercy, none of his crew stops him. I’ll crush his head under my heel one day
Day 2. Gathered some of the names of the people on board. Mish mish is the elf woman behind me, and Cormag is the firbolg and and the Djin is Merak. The Gnome is Glongle. These northmen are dead by the end of this or I am.
Day 3 They dont feed us much, So when mish mish summoned some fish it was a glorious. Reprieve. Me and her and the gnome seem to aggravate these northmen more than the others.. The wippings have stopped, now they just hit my broken arm.. I’ve lost count The sea salt and spray of the ocean the rain. I keep passing out in my bench or waking up without remembering falling asleep. Cormag healed my arm with some kind of magic but it isn't quite right still. A bad storm is coming, The viking leader gundar argues with Einar more and more. Mish Mish got herself stabbed, but we managed to swipe the knife. I'm going to try and kill them tonight
Day 1 aboard the mystery ship. Nothing went as planned. As we were about to get executed by the northmen for our attempted ambush, when a new ship attacked the wolfship. A half-orc, a tiefling, a dwarf and a gnome. We got free in the commotion and they took us aboard, I'm fairly certain Einar is dead, and certain the rest of the northmen are
Day 2 We are prisoners again although the conditions are much better. Got my arm set by Cormag, got some rest and food.
Day 3 Wever been offered a deal for a freedom. 55 gold of debt per person and we walk away magically branded. We only have a few days. To get it. I guess I have to put up with everyone to earn my freedom. At least cormag seems helpful. Were docked in a pirate town, one sword between us no gold and nothing else to our names. I’m not sure what we will do.
