Braevis

A world awash in sensory input, Braevis is an earth-like world full of saturated colors, rich scents, and innumerable textures and sounds. Seas teem with bioluminescent species. Markets wrap shoppers in streamers of heady spices and soft, silky fabrics. Ydera and Solida, the twin moons, grace the world with lavender and a pale green light when the sunsets. From city streets to the depths of the wilds, Braevis never falls entirely silent.     On the continent Edros lay the kingdoms of Igain, Marinna, Draivalon, and two new countries still squabbling of their names in the wake of freeing themselves from Draivalon's former imperial grip. As the kingdoms formed, each discovered a unique set of magical talents native to their geography. Among the denizens of Marinna rose a talent for water magics, allowing them to build the most formidable navy and wealthiest merchant fleet on the continent. Draivalon's temperate rainforest and mountainous border gave birth to the ability to control storms and shadows. Its erstwhile colonies wielded control of fire and stone. Small Igain turned its eyes heavenward, seeking the secrets of the stars, and learned to channel their powers.     With Draivalon longing to reestablish its empire, the dawn of magic being applied to technology puts every nation in its sights. But it's Igain that gains the unstable empress's attention the most closely when the power that typically waxes and wanes finds purpose in the potential of generators.
