Eldars
The Children of Aery'll
The Eldars hail are the children of the Cryator Aery'll, born from the sap of the Great Tree. They were the first race to reach the shores of Braan and populate the region of Laendar. From here the beginnings of elves, man and dwarf set forth to the rest of the land. For over 2,000 years the Eldars have lived and migrated from Erondel, their capital city.
The Eldars symbolise the everlasting beauty handed down to them by the will of Aery'll, who cared most for everlasting beauty. For a time they were the race of peace and tranquility until in the beginning of the 2nd Age, where corruption caused them to go against the Sevotars, leading to the War of the Ancients, in which the Eldars were almost exinct, yet they were able to overcome the Sevotars and control the land as their new gods. In the past 1,500 years the Eldars fought the Mornfals, freeing cities across the land from the morbid control of the Mornfal. The Eldars were worried about the Mornfal Demovars, and so they forbid the use of magic in the entire land knowing that the Demovars feed on magic. Some say, this desicion was also made to prevent any possible rise against the Eldars.
The Eldar city is Erondel, it is situated amongst the forests, waterfalls and rivers, ponds and lakes near the Arun River. Their architecture is often white marble or dark wood with wooden furniture. Eldar art and architecture features elegant designs with curves and techniques to blend and merge with the environment around them. The air is always clean, filtered by the evergreen trees surrounding Erondel. Birds sing their song and the area feels calm and everlasting. During the night the land is transformed into a twilight haven with glistening, mirror-like waters, the rivers even become a lot calmer because of the nightly pull from the moon, said to be a blessing from Era. Now a days, with only 6 known Eldars in the world, the city is still a palcehold for the head of the coucil, Ceres, where there are many believers who maintain the place to make the magestic atmosphere last. Humans, Elves Dwarves and the new races all help, hoping to get a favor from the Eldar gods. The location of the other Eldars remains unknown as they constantly moving and changing locations, at times visiting Kings from distance lands, as a reminder of their powers. The Eldars are known to hold incredible magical power. The awakening of the Eldars, after Idril found the shards of Aery'll's mask, increased their magical powers tremendously.
