Esta adaptación genética a las altas temperaturas y ambientes más extremos ha permitido que la especie prolifere en zonas desérticas perdiendo su tipo "Hada" y transformándose en "Pyschic-Fire". A su vez, al requerir una ínfima cantidad de alimento, sus capacidades se han centrado en garantizar la supervivencia del grupo y en mejorar sus habilidades de combate.

A primera vista se congregan en pequeños grupos, construyen, diseñan y viven en una sociedad con cierta organización segmentada; pero lo más llamativo que han podido captar los investigadores es, que en ningún caso han encontrado la evolución de Gallade. En algunas regiones se ha extendido el rumor de que los Gallade han perdido sus capacidades y ahora sólo sirven para reproducirse con la especie; en otras, que esta especie ha perdido la opción de evolucionar a Gallade. No obstante, no se conoce la verdad.
Por lo general, las crías (independientemente de su sexo) permanecen dentro del recinto; pero nada más evolucionar a Kirlia, las hembras comienzan a entrenar y perfeccionar sus habilidades para defenderse en el entorno extremo en el que habitan. Por el contrario, los machos se centran en el cuidado de las crías y el mantenimiento de la salud de todos sus congéneres.
Se ha constatado que, a pesar de utilizar ataques especiales, las Gardevoir de estas pequeñas tribus utilizan armas para cazar y custodiar los límites de su territorio. Sus capacidades de supervivencia rivalizan con sus capacidades cerebrales de comprensión y adaptabilidad. En el desierto de Hoenn su principal enemigo son los Cacturne, que aprovechan que el tipo siniestro hace sus mentes indetectables para atacar sigilosamente. Ocasionalmente, Galvantula también intenta cazar algún miembro solitario desprevenido. Aunque es extremadamente raro, se sabe que ha llegado a ocurrir que por algún motivo se creen rencillas entre la tribu de Gardevoir y las manadas de Vultergyst, que acaban explotando en una batalla campal entre ambos.
