Oriso End of the World Myth

As /inorah/ told her story to what remained of her universe, it kept slowly dying. Eventually, when all that was left in the universe was /inorah/ and her story, she two succomed to the end, and silence fell upon creation. All was still. And then, it wasn't. Slowly with greater and greater speed all of reality drifted together faster and faster. Eventually the whole of creation was contained within a single point infinitesimally small. And when it seemed like that point could not grow any smaller, it exploded into a new universe filled with stars and gas and snow and life and death. In time new life appeared. It was not the Oriso, nor humans, nor anything like what came before, but it was still made of the same bits of reality. And as life grew and spread across the galaxy, this new universe was filled with stories. Great stories, and small all, heard only once, and spread across entire galaxies. And life, carried on. In the end, even the end of a universe could not stop the march of time and spread of stories. In reality, there is no true ending, sure there are endings, sometimes so impossibly huge as to destroy everything, but they are not the ending. However, after the after, if it ever does come, there will be a story, told to what little is remains. Stories were the first thing, and they will be the last.1
[1] Yes, I did somewhat paraphrase the end of Episode 71 of Welcome to Nightvale.
