Bloodline Chronicles

In the earliest eras mortals acted as servants to great monstrous overlords. The favored of these servants were gifted the blood of these powerful beings. Through this act the mortals were empowered with great magic but most importantly with the tools to overthrow the monsters. In a moment known as the Banishing the first sorcerer, Ashen, sacrificed herself and succeeded in banishing these monsters beyond our mortal realm. In the aftermath of this it was left to the sorcerers to rally their people and begin to rebuild.   After decades of strife from within the budding nations and without the continent of Couridine settles into a time of peace. Now, those sorcererous nobles look to secure their power while there are others that merely see the sorcerers as merely more tyrants which require ousting. All the while there are those only spoken about in hushed whispers whose machinations pose a threat to not only Couridine but the entire mortal realm
