Tiefling
Overview
Tieflings are the spawn of humans and fiends, most often between spellcasters and fiends looking to extend their influence into the mortal world. Most tieflings never know their fiendish sire, as the coupling that produced their bloodline occurred generations earlier, before the creation of the Worldveil. Nowadays only scholars know what fiends are and as such Tieflings rarely suffer from prejudice against their bloodline. More often than they are seen as exotic and their appearance often attracts curious glances. Nevertheless their otherworldly appearance makes them stand out and growing up amidst "ordinary" children can be hard when their appearance marks them as different. In the broadest possible sense, they still look human. However, their fiendish heritage has left a clear imprint on their appearance. Tieflings have vibrant red, purple or blue skin coloration and have large horns that take any of a variety of shapes: some have curling horns like a ram, others have straight and tall horns like a gazelle’s, and some spiral upward like an antelopes’ horns. Additionally they can have a variety of other features such as tails, hooves and claws. Tieflings run the gamut from otherworldly beautiful to utterly terrifying. Other possible features: Thick tails, four to five feet long Sharp Canines Eyes of a solid colors—black, red, white, silver, or gold—with no visible sclera or pupil.
