Lutko, God of Mystery

Overview

Lutko is the enigmatic God of Mystery and Magic. He is the creator and protector of both the Weave and Ley-lines from which arcane magiic flows. Mathematics and arcane magic, are his gifts to mortals, and he is ever guiding them in their use. During night he weaves dreams for mortals, allowing them to have new experiences and reflect upon their own lives. The most worthy among them are given visions of things that might come to pass. Ever watching Lutko observes practitioners of Magic as he cast his gaze beyond the stars, trusting that knowledge of past and present will reveal knowledge of the future, hidden behind the stars.  
He is either depicted as a hooded young men with short black hair or as a hood-less bald sage, dressed in long flowing robes of blues and purples with golden embroidery. He is always shown as carrying sacks of scrolls and looking at an astrolabe.  

Followers

His followers guard magical secrets, rituals, items and powers from the unworthy and keep it out of the hands from those that would misuse it in their eyes. After all they know that there is power in magic, giving all the ability to manipulate reality as they deem fit. As such it must be kept from those that would bring harm to their own and be used to enhance their own power. His followers know that magic is not inherently good nor bad, magic just is. It is what people use it for that make acts of good or evil. Many hide their allegiance for otherwise they know that the secrets they guard will be coveted by others and many will come and try to take it. Lords and Ladies pay great sums of cash to hear what his priesthood has to offer and gladly sponsor their arcane research if it aids their own goals. Mages, scholars, researchers, and those that wish to guard or know a magical secret and power are drawn to his faith.

Temples

They are often hidden and obscured from prying eyes, usually placed near places of magical significance or ley lines. It is not uncommon for people to be in or near one without even realizing it. Though places of knowledge and historical import are prime locations for their secret halls. Where they do stand openly his grand temples have large astronomical charts, mathematical and arcane equations and inscriptions inscribed upon the walls themselves and are places of great learning.

Seek and unearth lost artifacts, magical knowledge and secrets
Hoard magical secrets and knowledge, never giving away anything for free or without reason. If all is known, it becomes useless
Seek the perfection of your mind by bringing reason, perception, and emotion into balance with one another.

Relations

Lutko was a child of love and deception with Scirri as his mother and Kruzec as his father. Secrecy is what drove him to unearth all magical secrets in the first place for which he is ever grateful. He is close to both, but is weary of his mother. He has a cordial relationship with the other gods, who are weary of trading with him as it always means having to give up something they'd rather not.
