Kruzec, God of Craft

Overview

Kruzec is the stoic God of Craft and Trade. He is both the greatest artisan and negotiator among the Gods. His many near impossible deals and the wealth hidden below the earth have made him the wealthiest of all. Kruzec thought mortals the art of creation and deal-making, building the first walls so that all could barter in safety. In order to spread their work far and wide he minted the first coin and gifted them the wheel so that their influence may spread even further. Now under his watchful eye mortals hone their craft, barter their wares and with his blessing shall find their way towards wealth and fortune.
Kruzec is depicted as a strong and smiling middle aged man with half-long black hair held back by a platinum circlet. His attire is woven out of golden thread with precious gems woven into them. He holds aloft a merchant's scale and from his belt dangle numerous tools of the trade.

Followers

His followers make up the heart of commerce and as such are the beating heart of any settlement. Their trade agreements, guilds and networks spread civilization far and wide. They know that their value lies in their skills and as such only teach their abilities to those that have earned it. Yet they also know that they are nothing without their community and as such work together with many others to ensure the well being of their community. They are hard working folk that are mistrusting of those with great wealth, yet have done nothing to prove themselves worthy of it. Many not only judge the work of themselves and others, but also their deeds, acting as judges within guilds and as councilors of settlements where the guilds rule. His followers are artisans, merchants and traveling traders. His darker followers are more cruel and gladly take part in slavery as another means of accruing wealth and influence.

Temples

His temples are finely crafted out of the material most important to local trade, though most are made out of finely crafted stone. Within they have areas dedicated to learning and honing their craft. The central meeting hall for all guilds within a settlement is overseen by a massive statue of Kruzec holding scales, balanced with local goods. If the scales tip and goods spill out, it is seen as a sign of his displeasure and could spell doom towards the local trade.

Always keep your word, a deal is a deal, even one forged in fire
Never do anything for free, lest you harm the trade. Always request something in return.
Leave a lasting mark on the world. Be they sword, family, kingdom, fame or fortune.

Relations

Kruzec was once the lover of Zelya but was tricked by Scirri and conceived Lutko with her. His own honor and dedication ensures that both he and Scirri remained wed and he has since grown to love his mischievous Scirri. He works with any God willing to make and honor arrangements yet his tendency to create at the expense of the natural world leaves him at odds with Iovka.
