Ger'Uillan

Ger'Uillan was the Demon of Witchcraft and the Matron deity of the Sacred Well. She was summoned by a witch in the mid-1700s to join Tur'Loth in his campaign to cover Blackwell in darkness. She influenced Lottie's parents and their friends who were highly into the occult.   Ger'uillan was very deft at persuading women that they were oppressed, overlooked, and underappreciated. She was the Matron deity of Witchcraft for that reason. Once women began to feel powerless, they looked to fill that void with something. And that's where Ger'Uillan came in. She offered them power. She offered them position, and they fell for it every time; hook, line, and sinker. What she neglected to tell them was the cost of that power. Selling your soul to the devil isn't an easy process, nor easily reversible. Many of the women went to their graves in denial of the state of their soul's final destination. Some broke down in horror and shame, but it was too late. There was a small number that got away from Ger'Uillan. They saw the sham for what it was and ran, committing their lives to the other side, but Ger'Uillan didn't like to talk about those.   Ger'uillan has a longstanding hatred for Mozzrag. Ger'Uillan was given the leadership position in the task to overtake Blackwell when the people seemed to respond to the influences of Witchcraft. Mozzrag constantly interjected that it was his contributions of Fear that pushed them to respond this way, and therefore the victory was, in truth, his. No one saw it this way, and he was therefore ignored.   The agents of Ger'Uillan were Morrigan and Keres.   A gnarled branch
