Terathropy

Terathropy is a catch-all term for lycanthropy if it covers more than animals. People with Terathropy can turn into different beings when in battle or the midst of combat.

Transmission & Vectors

Terathropy can be spread through spreading germs. common factors are from drawing blood, kissing, or any activity that involves germs getting into the bloodstream of someone non-infected.

Causes

Usually, there are conditions to shift fully into this creature, like a full moon, but some creatures need to be properly trained to shift and can't shift back into what they originally are.

Symptoms

Symptoms of terathropy are gradual, it starts with a fever and slowly shifting into the creature the victim contracted from. The period of full terathropy lasts a week.

Treatment

Each symptom of terathropy can be combatted or reverted differently. It involves drinking milk

History

I know it started when werewolves were introduced to the public, the idea of someone shifting into a beast and back became a mainstay in the Black Marble.
