General Summary
Dreamers Alpharius, Amon, Buttercup, Rudy, and Yuuko was tasked by Cor to defeat the Road Rattler, a monster that eats lost travellers. Thanks to Amon and Buttercup's charisma, the party was able to shop for equipment. Later after a brief run-in with the guards, set out to the wild crags of Dhursabhura. After a day watching over what might come of them, they were ambushed by hungry Teranodons, while victorious in their battle, Alpharius decided it is time for him to leave and vanished in the arid mists.
After the whole day trekking, they've finally come across the dreaded road Rattler, encircling the quartet in hand and eating Rudy. With Yuuko stabbing the creature where Rudy used his escape plan, the Rattler exploded upon defeat. The party rushed to Rudy's aid only to find a visage of a small reindeer monster reverting to Rudy's human form, raising more questions than answers. The four agreed to skin the creature and head back for their reward.
