Elves

Elves are beings born during the birth of a dreamland. The genetic makeup of elves come in different shapes and sizes, though some of them look no different than humans. A Wescanonian Elf is spindly and as tall as a bull or a horse. Standing up that is. That would be different than a Noellean Elf, which is about the same size as a Floren, or some newborn child. Elves have many forms when you travel through the Black Marble. Heck, some elves look no different than humans. Though it all depends on one thing, where the elf is born.

Learn as they go

While most people don't know the difference between an elf baby and a human one, the most common trait of elven infancy is transparency. Literally. Their skin is clear as water and only their eyes and nerves can be seen thanks to its bioluminescence, or glowy stuff. Their eyes look around and pick up bits and blobs of colour for their skin, and overtime, their skin and bodies develop into a more skin like substance. Of course there is regional differences between each elf linked to a land, but each elf have the same traits through and through, begrudgingly like humans.
Take any elf with dark skin as an example, there are many lands where their skin could be perceived as that pertaining the land they are tied to. A land underground, a land of endless night, a land themed around a dark colour is one many people wouldn't come to mind, but it exists.

They are humanoid. That is all I can truly say about them.

Biological Traits

All elves in the Black Marble live long lives to their thousands, but that is all that all elves there have in common. Patthari Elves can be confused for marble statues, while Noellian Elves are small craftsman. It all depends on their ethnicity.

Elves reproduce like normal humans, birds and bees and whatnot.

Elves can last a very long time, some to their thousands.

History

For every official land, some elves embody the essence of set land. Some say they are the more civilized race, but they are like humans to an extent. They live their lives and envelop the personality of the land they're on.
