Wrench (Wr-en-ch)

The Wrench is a standard monkey wrench that you would find in a plumbers toolset. Wrenches in Bioshock are currently 2 pounds in weight and classify as light melee weapon, meaning they can be weilded with one hand. The wrench is currently the only weapon that CANNOT be upgraded throughout the RPG, but there are a number of Physical Tonics and Combat Tonics that greatly improve the players combat ability with the wrench.

The damage is the players STRENGTH score PLUS 1d6. The Wrench is most effective at short range.

Wrenches are common to find throughout Rapture and should be treated as such.

In Bioshock 1, the very first weapon the player will find in the world is a wrench. As a homage to this, the wrench in the RPG will be common and the players will have very easy access to said weapon throughout Rapture.
