Bhriza

This breathing and ever-changing world is my attempt at full-blown fantasy. A few friends back in Texas suggested and implored me to make my own homebrew world. I always thought about it, but could never commit, due to it seeming like a massive amount of work. However, during COVID, I found I had a lot of time on my hands, with no job in sight...hence this being a perfect time to create said world.   Enter Bhriza.   Bhriza is a high magic, relatively newborn world. Laws are just beginning to form this hunk of infantile rock into a type of quasi-civility. The dust of legends and the scrolls of prophesies are starting to be excitedly shared amongst tribes, villages, bards, and major cities alike. Whats not written in stone or text makes an ever-negotiable situation for the individual. You want something done? Some law upheaved or instituted? Something created that you feel should be a part of these lands for eons to come? Congratulations! You have the power to do so, as long as you have equal amounts of determination, tenacity, and luck.   What kind of beings can you expect to find? Of course, you have the "normal" races: Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Halflings, Gnomes, Dragonborn, and Orcs. Other races like Minotaurs, Centaurs, Shardminds, Netherai, Elephantine, Genasi, Astran, Tortles, Bearfolk and Gastro truly make Bhriza unique and diverse amongst certain cultures and nations.   Wizards and mages of a like cloth compete for dominance with the artificers of this world. Both types of individuals are sought after equally. However, Bhriza is also known for its cunning fighters, savage barbarians, and up and coming commanders. Underwater vessels and airships can be found dotting the turbulent extremities of the sea and air, respectively.   The atmosphere that the world gives off is in an infant-like state, ripe for heroes and villains to mold to their persuasive will, in a no-holds barred vie for honor, or domination. Either way, the beginnings of history are being written as we speak. Where shall YOU fit in its empty, embracing pages?
