Every nation made use of a number of different types of uniform during the Second World War, there were Formal Ceremonial, Informal Ceremonial, Guard Uniforms, Parade Uniforms, Walking-Out Uniforms, etc. High-ranking officers varied their uniforms greatly even within the same military organization; even then individual officers often customized their attire.
