A Staredown Between Clairvoyants

To the untrained eye, you'd think it was just posturing, but I know Hod's clairvoyance well, and this woman was no different. The two of them just stood there, staring intently at each other, making subtle adjustments to their grip on their holsters with one hand, their eyes darting to different parts of their other's equipment.
Two clairvoyants, locked in a game of anticipation, waiting for the other to make the slightest miscalculation.
