The Birth of Bavelion: The Maker Myth. Before time began, there was only one. One thing, one place, one being, one life. And its Name was Eavelion the Maker. Eavelion was the only presence in all of existence, as he was the entirety of existence. Eavelion had power beyond imagining, but all he would do is sleep. His sleep was peaceful, until he thought himself to dream. He knew not where his dreams would come from, but soon they would come to frighten him.
To escape his dreams Eavelion returned to himself and became inspired by his dreams. From nothing he would craft two children, Blawicx and Beadlra. His children were embodiments of a dream he had that amused him, two things called Law and Chaos. Beadlra the mother of law, order and death to change and her brother Blawicx represented the opposite values of life, chaos, disruption and change.’ together all three were named the maker trinity.
Eavelion gave upon his children a blank canvas for which they could work a lifeless rock floating through empty space. Eavelion gave his children a desire to create to fill his domain. Beadlra created the earth and the oceans, as she saw these things vest represented calm and unchanging values, in turn Blawicx created the volcanoes, winds, and fire, for these represented the chaos and ever-changing nature of his being.
The children would continue to meld and move in accordance with their own wants, and eventually they would come to despise their differences, which lead to a cosmic battle between the two. This fight would last longer than time could quantify and from the energy created by these formless beings would flow the essence of their being into the planes beyond and would form the Elemental planes which would exist outside their created world, as well as the shadowfell and feywild created from the remainders of their dying consciousness.
This would end eventually with the death of Beadlra at the hands of Blawicx. Upon her death, her charred corpse would turn, twist and crumble creating the moon, and the other planets in the system. Eavelion grew furious, as he had wished for his children to live peacefully with one another and create without conflict.
Eavelion formed himself into a great spear of light and pierced his son, scattering him into an infinite number of pieces and scattered them among the planes, which would shoot far into the endless dark space of Eavelion and create the stars that would alight the fragments of Beadlra in distant systems of space.
After it all had ended Eavelion’s opalescent tears covered his realm, he had wished he never awoke from his sleep as he returned to his dreams. As he did, his tears of life would drench the fragments of Blawicx and Beadlra, and from this would be spawned life, that would later grow into the Mortal races, dragons and giants with the guiding hand of the gods, the first life to awaken from the destruction of the Makers.
