Dragons

Dragons have existed longer than any species could remember. They were said to have terrorized the entire world before civilized races drove them back and created their own territories. Over time, they moved to only attack civilizations that couldn't fight back. In response, these civilizations would hire heroes to slay the dragons. Over the past millennia, explorers have thought that dragons were extinct.   Dragon types:

There are, however, a species of sea serpent thought to be related to dragons called Lung. They live in the foreign land of Beastfolk. These Lung do not have breath weapons and typically avoid civilized races. Where typical dragons usually have the body shape of a horse or bull, Lungs usually have the body shape of a serpent and it is usual for them to have whiskers. Basic Information

Anatomy

All dragons can run, fly, and climb. Dragons with water-related terrains can swim. Dragons with underground terrains can burrow.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Dragons generally feed on pure minerals, eating plants and animals only when they don't have access to treasures.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Dragons are mostly solitary until they mate. After mating, the couple either split up and return to being solitary (one of them with any eggs) or bond and remain a couple.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Areas with nearby dragons have hidden pockets of non-renewable resources and increased fertility in plants and animals. The bodies of dragons are also valuable, as their scales are excellent crafting materials

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

All adult dragons have blindsight for 60 feet and darkvision for 120 feet. Young dragons have 30 feet blindsight and 120 feet darkvision. Wyrmlings have 10 feet blindsight and 60 feet darkvision.
Lifespan
Wyrmling: 0-15, Young: 16-100, Adult: 101-800, Ancient: 801+
