Demons
Demons are one of three Leaf-planar beings with an incredible amount of control over their Leaf, the other two being Angels and Devils. Demons first came into existence when Iblis, the God of the Abyss, decided there should be other beings it could push around, share its humor with, and help it carry out basic tasks. Typically they are born from eggs which are laid by mother demons, the first egg laid by Iblis. Demons tend to not age and are impervious to certain damage, though they can be killed through the right set of actions.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
All demons have horns somewhere on their body and typically have cloven feet. While no demons have wings capable of flight, some demons have something that appear to be wings that only have an aesthetic usage.
Genetics and Reproduction
Demons can be born from eggs laid after two or more demons have sex, or can be made from converted mortals
Ecology and Habitats
Demons live in a dimension of extreme heat an bizarre physics. They abhor order and need heat to survive.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Demons do not need to, but they do eat and digest for fun. They typically eat other demons, consume non-vital parts of mortal souls or summon imaginary food to eat.
Additional Information
Average Intelligence
While demons are completely unrelated to mortal races and have had separate development, they have intelligence comparable to mortals.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
Demons derive pleasure from torturing mortals, with pleasure being one of their most basic needs.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Typically only one name, lots of "o" sounds, long and short, -ia/-ius/-io/-iette endings are common. They try to have unique names.
Gender Ideals
There are many demons who do not adhere to binary gender roles, but it is not uncommon to find demons who do. It is, however, very rare to find a demure or willingly submissive demon.
Courtship Ideals
Demons either enjoy the complex game of subtle harassment or get right to what they want.
Relationship Ideals
Demons tend to not stay with a partner longer than what is convenient to them, but when they find someone who they have fun staying with, they can stay attached for millenia. This rule doesn't apply to dominant-submissive relationships however. Sub demons sign a contract to be owned by some Dom demon until the terms of the contract run out or the sub becomes a Dom themselves. It is notable that through this type of contract, a mortal may become a sub demon and begin to work their way towards being a free Dom or stay a sub forever.
