Angels
Angels are one of three Leaf-planar beings with an incredible amount of control over their Leaf, the other two being Demons and Devils. Angels first came into existence when Elohim, the God of Heaven, made their universe and spoke that there should be beings to maintain their perfect creation. Typically they are created by Elohim vocally summoning a new servant. Angels tend to not age and are impervious to certain damage, though they can be killed through the right set of actions.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
All angels have wings somewhere on their bodies and a golden halo over their head. Some angels may be humanoid, having a face of any mortal race, in any color, with a white robe covering the rest of their body. Other angels take on more "monstrous" forms, such as the interlocked burning wheels of eyes, or the multi-headed centaur with four wings. Angels do not intend to scare, but some of their less humanoid shapes have that effect.
Genetics and Reproduction
Angels are only made by Elohim themselves or when a mortal or devil decides to undergo a process to become an imitation angel. Besides their origin, they are functionally indistinguishable from true angels.
Ecology and Habitats
Angels live in silence and light. If they are surrounded by too much noise, and the noise doesn't stop when they command it, they may become overwhelmed. Without light, angels may lose their hope.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Angels are confused by the concept of food and can't eat.
Additional Information
Average Intelligence
While angels are completely unrelated to mortal races and have had separate development, they have intelligence comparable to mortals.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
One of the duties that angels have is caring for mortals. If they make an effort to be exceedingly evil, angels may become devils.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Biblical names ending in -ael/-iel/-el are typically given. Imitation angels may keep their mortal names, convert it to a more angelic sounding name, or take a new name altogether.
Gender Ideals
Angels are an androgynous race.
Courtship Ideals
Angels do not have romantic or sexual feelings, but they support the feelings of Lawful Good mortals, typically for each other. If a mortal insists on courting an angel, it might confuse them, but some angels choose to accept it.
Relationship Ideals
Some angels make good teams working together, but they typically do not have strong feelings for each other. Outsiders are usually the ones to ascribe these labels to them.
