Vivisectionist

Vivisectionists is a rogue subclass specialising in creature anatomy. While a medical doctor would use that research and knowledge to help and heal, these Vivisectionists use this knowledge for their own means whether it be good or evil. Vivisectionists combine the deadly precision of rogues with anatomy causing victims to suffer great debilitations from severed hamstrings to eye-gouging. This butchering has been a significant reason to why many people prefer magical means of healing; however, people without the touch of magic nor the funds to pay for it go to these back-alley doctors.

The most famous case of a Vivisectionists work is the slaughter of Lord Jeevak by the hands of Alaunus Dorthiem. Lord Jeevak mocked the elf's work and upheaved his hospital after he was caught stealing gold from the lord's coffers. In a blind rage, he snuck into the lord's manor at night, slit the throats of every guard and tortured the Lord until morning. Until the lord succumbed to his wounds Dorthiem tortured him by cutting his hamstrings so he could no longer run, cut out his tongue so he could no longer spit his lies, broke his knees so he could feel the pain he inflicts on his injured peasants that come to Dorthiem's aid and gouged his eyes out so the last thing Jeevak ever saw was his blade.
