Star Ambassadors

Deep under the Corelian harbour city of Akename, a creature from beyond the stars slumbers restlessly. With each irritated twist it's eldritch influence infects the city, turning the innocent into indescribable horrors. Yet the people of Akename know not of the monstrosities that have set foot in their city, for the Star Ambassadors carry the burden of knowledge for them.

Structure

The Star Ambassadors are a group of nine woman. They each have dedicated themselves to a creature which calls itself Ix. Ix claims to be the only sentient manifestation of the creature slumbering under the city. Ix approached each of the Star Ambassadors individually, getting them to swear an oath to protect the truth of its physical body in exchange for supernatural abilities. When they first accepted, they were unaware that they were other Star Ambassadors, but as they slowly discovered each other they formed an united sisterhood together.

Public Agenda

The Star Ambassadors work in secret to ensure no one ever discovers the truth of what slumbers under Akename. Which means that they usually have to fight those corrupted by the creature's restless dreams before the inhabitants of the city become aware of them. But on a rare occasion there appears a scholar who digs to deep into things he shouldn't have. Through either his research or sheer curiosity he finds out about the creature slumbering beneath him and discovers the cave system to it's lair. It is then up to the Star Ambassadors to make sure this scholar never comes back with proof of his discovery, and that his research notes may disappear forever.

Assets

Each Star Ambassador was granted her own special set of abilities by Ix and a weapon forged from a fragment of their own soul. Ix believes this ensures that the Star Ambassadors have the tools to handle any situation they might come across.
The Star Ambassadors have created their base of operations inside of a large side cavern on the side of the cave system that leads to the creature's slumbering body. Here they come together to discuss strategies, train, and to socialise with each other.
