Isdorn
The Indomitable King rules the lands of Isdorn. An industrious people, the Isdornians built a long standing domain upon the works of their past. Many ruins of ancient empires covered the landscape now known as Isdorn, forming the foundation for a lasting dominion. Isdornians are raised on a principle of hard work, conditioned not to accept anything less than exhaustive effort. This has led to an independent and proud people, determined to prove the true spirit and merit of their own ingenuity.
Structure
Like many Human Kingdoms, Isdorn operates on a feudal hierarchy of descending responsibility. They use the Noble Hierarchy Noble Hierarchy system.
The Indomitable King has absolute rule over the kingdom, yet rather than delineating power and responsibility to Noble Houses and families, the crown retains a powerful military and security force that operates the kingdom under the iron grip of the Indomitable. Often the King of Isdorn will assign high ranking nobles to key positions within his advisory staff and administration, appointments that often depend more on coin than qualifications.
Public Agenda
Isdorn is built on a foundation not of ideas or promises or dreams, but on the spirit of the people themselves. To be an Isdornian is to be a proud, hard working citizen. Patriotism may be a common emotion across the surface of Bastion, but by and far few can match the sheer breadth of faith and determination that these people hold in their countrymen and above all the Indomitable King.
